摘要

In line with the themes considered in the book Reimagining Transformative Educational Spaces: Technological Synergy for Future Education, the present paper is focused on the transformative potential of digital skill development program implemented across various Indian sectors. Using the comprehensive approach of a qualitative method and NVivo toolset for the thorough analysis, this paper discusses the impacts of tailored skill development programs on various communities and economic groups and the shared value of inclusive digital education, which reflects educational equity and inclusive development concerns. The unique impact of different initiatives for people in distinct demographic segments, especially urban agglomerations, and remote rural communities, has been overlooked throughout the literature. Our study demonstrates that people ground their focus on tailored digital education initiatives to experience stronger employability and become more professionally empowered in other sectors following the experience on corporate demand for offering other professional skills-based upskilling programs. The obtained results provide relevant new insights to the discussion concerning efficient operations of digital education programs and survivor techniques related to the modification of these initiatives in order to ensure their adaptability to the needs of India’s population. The presented study is tailored to the human-centric outcomes approach in building the book’s focus while contributing to the academic discourse aimed at taking into account the consideration of the inclusivity of educational equity, as well as survival ones to ensure the digital benefits are embraced by all societal strata.
