摘要

This article implemented a bibliometric analysis technique to map the literature-based landscape of blended learning in language education. Six hundred and thirty-two articles’ publications between 2004 and 2023 from the Scopus database were analyzed. Through bibliometric analysis, the research identifies the leading countries, including the United States, China, Indonesia, and Malaysia- and recognizes top educational institutions, authors, and journals that lead in this field. The analysis of the most used keywords revealed the future development trend and direction of blended language learning in this field: (i) the implementation of blended language learning in different educational levels, such as K-12 (Kindergarten through 12th grade), higher education, and vocational training, (ii) the application of distinct blended learning models, such as the flipped classroom model, to language teaching in specific contexts, like French.
