摘要

Carbon nanomaterials have special qualities and capacities that can be used to achieve better biotherapeutic results, especially in DNA replication-associated diseases including cancer. The remarkable structural and physicochemical properties offer carbon nanocomposites a great potential in improving the sensitivity and efficacy of traditional biotherapeutics. These nanocomposite structures are flexible and find applications as devices for targeted biotherapeutics because of inherent attributes like their broad surface area, biocompatibility, and easier functionalization capability. Various modalities, including drug delivery, photothermal therapy, and imaging, benefit from the use of carbon nanocomposites, making carbon nanocomposites a great promise for biotherapeutics. Their diverse range of applications facilitate new approaches for targeted therapy, therapeutic monitoring, and improved diagnosis with considerations of biosafety and biocompatibility.
