Effects of the Application and Future Prospects for Maize–Soybean Strip Intercropping
摘要
This chapter provides an overview of the application and future prospects of maize-soybean strip intercropping. Over the past two decades, this technology has effectively addressed challenges in soybean cultivation, ensuring national food security and promoting the development of animal husbandry for high-quality meat, eggs, and milk production. Additionally, this method supports ecological health preservation through environmentally friendly fertilization, leading to improved fertilizer utilization rates and increased labor productivity. These developments also contribute to the revitalization of rural life and promote scientific and technological progress in the industry. Furthermore, this chapter examines the potential applications of maize-soybean strip intercropping, including advantages such as high industry competitiveness, low risk, great market potential, and policy guarantees. These strengths make it clear that this technology will be widely adopted in the future.
