Aiming at the problems of fewer sowing machines, poor sowing single grain, uneven plant spacing, low operational efficiency, and intelligence level under the maize–soybean intercropping planting mode, this chapter designs and develops 2BF-5 maize–soybean intercropping precision seeder and 2BYDF-6 maize–soybean intercropping seeder, which can realize adjustable and controllable control of different plant spacing, sowing depth, suppression strength, and the needs of different fertilizer types and fertilizer amount of the intercropping mode for the widespread popularization and application of the maize–soybean intercropping mode. After the bench and field tests, all performance indexes meet the relevant standards and actual production requirements, providing support for the wide-scale popularization and application of the maize–soybean intercropping pattern.
