Analyzing the Applicability of DevOps and its Associated Challenges

DevOps is an emerging methodology associated with software development and it differs from existing traditional approaches in terms of customer involvement and also the adoption of various continuous practices such as integration, deployment, and delivery. Tremendous research in the recent time including secondary studies have necessitated a long list of topics to be investigated and analyzed because of inconsistent terminology as there does not exist any standardized system relevant to DevOps deployment across diversified domains. The intention of this study is to analyze different literature works associated with DevOps deployment and to identify the challenges associated with DevOps along with mechanisms to resolve and overcome the challenges whereby DevOps culture can be integrated across various domains and verticals which aims to disrupt the impediment that exists between the development and operational teams and enhances the collaboration and communication among them.
