Fingerprint Recognition Technique-Design and Implementation Based on 3D Minutiae Matching Scheme
摘要
The most powerful authentic biometrics for personal identification, particularly in forensic science, are fingerprints. A ridge ending and bifurcation are two main types of 2D minutiae matching which are frequently used for fingerprint recognition. This article concentrates on using a 3D Minutiae Matching Technique, also recognized as Minutiae Cylindrical Code (MCC), in accordance with a 3D Template. This method focuses on Cylinders, which are three-dimensional data structures. In this digital era, a lot of physical data has been shared. The aim of this paper is to improve fingerprint matching efficiency for this purpose. We proposed an algorithm that would reduce the Matching Time, Enrolment, Time False Acceptance Rate (FAR), False Rejection Rate (FRR), and False Minutiae detection.
