Fluid Analysis of a Random Access System
摘要
This paper presents a process algebra method to model the interactions between the user equipments (UEs) and the base station (BS) in a random access communication system. Fluid approximation of the process algebra model is demonstrated to deal with the state-space explosion problems, and compared with stochastic simulation methods. The performance of throughput of the system is derived and analysed through the fluid approximation approach, providing valuable insights into random access systems.
