Research on Precision Machining Technology for Deep Taper Hole of Transmission Rudders Adopting Titanium Alloy

摘要

The transmission rudder of aerospace products is assembled by a plurality of titanium alloy parts, and the whole of which is connected by taper pins, and how to process the deep taper hole in the high-quality combination is a difficult problem in the current industry. According to the analysis of the structural characteristics and processing elements of the deep taper hole of the drive rudder made of titanium alloy, a new process flow was formulated, a special taper reamer was designed, and the processing parameters were optimized through the cutting test, and the test results were verified in batch production, which can stably obtain the processing size and surface quality of the deep taper hole of the transmission rudders adopting titanium alloy.
