摘要

The Fourth Industrial Revolution and other technological advancements have significantly impacted higher education institutions. These changes have been driven by government policies and external factors, leading to a need to explore the application of digital transformation approaches in this emerging field. To better understand and implement digital transformation in higher education institutions, developing an implementation model that can describe the complex relationships between the dimensions involved in the technologically supported educational domain is essential. This chapter proposes a research problem to formulate a model for appropriating digital competencies through the digital transformation chair as an organizational cultural change to facilitate digital transformation at the National University of Colombia, focusing on the university community. A systematic literature review is conducted to achieve this, and the problem statement, research objectives, methods, results, and expected contributions are discussed. The article consolidates the main aspects that enable the appropriation of digital skills.
