A DC-DC converter that combines multiple inputs and achieves high voltage is introduced in this work. The proposed converter design includes conventional boost and buck-boost converters. In this paper, the primary benefit of the proposed concept lies in establishing a common ground among input and output ports, ensuring a consistent input current profile at both ends. A comprehensive explanation of steady-state analysis and the operating principle is provided with several advantages, including decreased stress on semiconductor components, the absence of limitations on switching duty cycle, and a wide control range for handling various input powers. Furthermore, this paper includes simulation tests and evaluations of the proposed ideas, presenting and analyzing the obtained results.
