Anti-Aging Medicine and Medical Staff

The definition of medical staff refers to “medical professionals who have national qualifications related to medical care, nursing care, welfare, etc.” other than physicians and dentists. Specifically, nurses, radiological technologists, pharmacists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, clinical laboratory technicians, clinical engineering technicians, social workers, mental health welfare workers, etc. are considered medical staff, also known as co-medicals, covering 34 professions (Fig. 8.1). This chapter discusses how these medical staff can be involved in anti-aging medicine, considering both the current and future prospects.
