Organ Correlation and Antiaging Medicine: Exercise and Organ Correlation
摘要
Habitual exercise is known to contribute widely to the improvement of physical strength, prevention of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases, cancer prevention, and even the prevention and improvement of physical and mental frailty. Various organ functions, such as nutrient and oxygen supply through blood flow and excitation-contraction coupling through motor nerves, are necessary for skeletal muscle contraction. Furthermore, humoral factors such as hormones, cytokines, and metabolites affect the function of skeletal muscles. In addition, skeletal muscles themselves secrete physiologically active factors called myokines, which communicate intricately with all organs of the body, bringing about the benefits of exercise.
