Climate change education is increasingly vital as society confronts the challenges of environmental degradation and global warming. Modern educational practices are evolving to integrate technology, with generative artificial intelligence (AI) emerging as a potent tool. This paper explores the integration of generative AI in climate change education, focusing on interactive simulations, personalized learning pathways, chatbots, and natural language processing (NLP). By leveraging generative AI, educators can create immersive learning experiences that cater to diverse learner preferences and enhance understanding of complex climate science concepts. Interactive simulations allow learners to explore dynamic climate systems, fostering experiential learning and deeper comprehension. Personalized learning pathways, guided by AI algorithms, adapt educational content to individual needs, promoting sustained engagement and autonomy. Chatbots, powered by NLP, provide real-time interaction, offering accessible learning experiences.
