Chemical Properties of Nanomaterials

Physical properties and chemical properties complement each other, which jointly determine the properties, application fields and prospects of nano-materials. After studying the physical properties in the previous chapter, we will learn the chemical properties of nano-materials. Nano-materials are usually regarded as a reconstruction of existing bulk materials, and their chemical properties will change predictably with different material scales. Various synthesis methods can control the strict scale, shape and surface properties of nano-materials, while self-assembly technology can combine these structural units into structures with special functions according to different needs. In this chapter, the chemical characteristics of nano-materials will be discussed in detail.
