The rapid urease Test (RUT) is an invasive diagnostic method that employs tissue acquired through an endoscopic procedure to verify Helicobacter pylori infection by detecting the presence of urease elements. As fresh specimens obtained through forceps biopsy are necessary, the examination is conducted by the physician in an endoscopy room.
