摘要

The initial test for detecting Helicobacter pylori is an invasive biopsy obtained during upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. However, a diagnosis of H. pylori can be achieved through noninvasive methods such as urea breath testing (UBT), serology, and stool antigen test (SAT). These noninvasive tests prove valuable in situations where upper gastrointestinal endoscopy is unavailable or for patients who do not necessitate endoscopic evaluation. While UBT and serologic tests have already been discussed, the focus here will be on SAT.
