摘要

This chapter highlights the application of action methods in three different educational settings: a graduate program in counseling in the United States, a program for children and their parents in Mexico City, and an autonomous training program for Mexican activists. The authors discuss the clinical and ideological foundations of Jacob L. Moreno’s action methods and theories of social transformation. The chapter uses case examples to describe fundamental elements of psychodramatic theory and practice as they relate to decolonialist praxis in education. The authors conclude that action methods can be transformative when conducted in contexts where there is deliberate access to practice and values oriented toward social justice.
