Laser-Micro-EDM-Based Hybrid Process
摘要
This chapter provides an overview of the Laser-Micro-EDM-Based Hybrid Process, focusing on its historical background and underlying principles. It begins with a retrospective examination of the origins of Laser-Micro-EDM technology, tracing its development and eventual integration with other machining techniques, leading to the concept of hybridization. Throughout this discussion, the challenges associated with this integration are explored, along with techniques devised to address them effectively. Additionally, the chapter investigates the influence of laser parameters on the Laser-Micro-EDM-Based Hybrid Process, examining their effects on both one-dimensional and three-dimensional machining. Lastly, the current state of Laser-Micro-EDM-Based Hybrid Processes is assessed, providing insights into their significance in contemporary manufacturing practices.
