The analysis indicates a diverse approach to sustainability in architectural teaching, underscoring its essential role in preparing architects for the increasing importance of environmentally conscious design. The research explores various methods adopted globally by educational institutions, including curriculum updates, specialized sustainability courses, and interdisciplinary techniques. This study investigates how effectively these methods enhance students’ understanding and application of sustainable design principles. It stresses the need for a comprehensive approach to sustainability in architectural education, highlighting the importance of balancing theoretical knowledge with practical implementation. The study also aims to ensure that future architects are knowledgeable about applying the principles and skills of sustainability. The study concludes with suggestions to improve the inclusion of sustainability in architectural curricula, contributing to the broader conversation on sustainable architecture and education.
