In handling an application for act preservation against applying for the enforcement of rulings rendered by an extraterritorial court, a people’s court shall take into full account several considerations, including any possible substantial impacts of a respondent’s application for enforcing judgments or rulings rendered by an extraterritorial court on the trial of, and the subsequent enforcement of judgments, of related cases within China, the actual necessity of such act preservation measures, any possible damage to the applicant without such act preservation measures relative to that to the respondent with them, any possible disservice of such act preservation measures to public interests, compliance of such act preservation measures with the principle of international comity and others.
