This study focused on the transformation of the ICE Powertrain-driven Chevrolet Tavera into an EM Powertrain system drive. Models using MATLAB® Simulink® were developed to estimate the characteristics of the EM powertrain system. The Estimator was assembled by embedding several key components, including a generic engine system block, longitudinal vehicle body, transmission system, torque converter, and a set of controller unit blocks. Each component was parameterized based on the specifications of the Chevrolet Tavera and simulated in the time domain. During the process of estimating the system identification of the vehicle, the generic engine rotation was used as the input data, while the output transmission rotation served as the target data. This approach enabled the determination of the transfer function for it became possible to design the EM Powertrain and its associated control system, effectively representing the performance of the vehicle.

摘要
