Reversible inhibitors, especially the product and dead-end inhibitors, provide valuable insights to establish enzyme kinetic mechanisms. We have acknowledged earlier (Chap. 19 ) that reversible nature of inhibition has to be established before embarking on its use to study enzyme mechanisms. How these reversible inhibitors are employed in enzyme kinetic analyses are discussed in this chapter.
