Face recognition technology has been developed as a result of the development of computer technology. In the present day, computer technology and network technology have made it possible to apply face recognition technology to a wide range of fields. We have designed and developed an automated learning-free facial landmark detection technique that performs similarly to other state-of-the-art landmark detection methods, yet consumes significantly less time. A consistent expression recognition solution has been developed in low resolution images using the proposed method, which has been found to work well in different resolutions. In experiments, the proposed system was shown to be effective on the CK+ and JAFFE facial expression databases.
