The issue addressed in this case study is the insufficient network literacy and lack of proper guidance on network security among middle school students. The problem manifests itself in four main aspects: Firstly, there is a mismatch between students’ technical proficiency and their sense of responsibility. Middle school students possess far more experience in network operations than in network security, resulting in a disconnect in the pace of cultivating their network security perspectives.
