Guangzhou has strengthened regional coordination and established the leading group for the construction of the national “Smart Education Demonstration Zone.” The group focuses on the popularization and specialized application of smart education and implements the 1131 project. The first “1” refers to implementing one governance strategy, which is to monitor the development trend of education with big data on city education. The second “1” aims to promote the popularization of a set of basic resources, with the “Guangzhou Shared Classroom” providing basic resources for all students. The “3” represents three digitalized educational applications, including the reform of smart reading classroom teaching, general artificial intelligence education, and smart sunshine evaluation. The last “1” refers to coordinating scientific and educational resources throughout the society to cultivate top-notch innovative talents.
