Smart Equipment Management: Installing the “Smart Engine” for Educational Modernization

As one of the national “Smart Education Demonstration Zones,” Fuzhou has outlined a blueprint for promoting the modernization and transformation of education through a 1 + 4 + N smart education ecosystem. As a leading city in educational development, Fuzhou has gradually improved its educational informationization infrastructure, but still faces challenges such as uneven equipment allocation, the need to improve the effectiveness of educational funding usage, a lack of systematic management, low utilization rates of some equipment, and insufficient maintenance timeliness. In response, the Fuzhou Educational Equipment Application Operation and Maintenance Management System has emerged as a key component of the smart education ecosystem. This system utilizes three integrated management approaches, driven by data and enabled by technology, to create a unified management framework for the regional educational equipment system.
