The “meta-scientific revolution” is the paradigm shift at the abstract philosophical level and the consequent paradigm shift at the concrete scientific level, while the “secondary scientific revolution” is the revolution at the concrete scientific level after the completion of the “meta-scientific revolution.” Modern science is based on a mechanical view of nature, on the methodological principles of disenchantment, simplicity, reductionism, causal determinism, and philosophical concepts of experimental and mathematical methods, which have led to the unnaturalness of modern science. This is the root cause of the environmental problems caused by its application. In order to solve environmental problems, it is necessary to revolutionize modern science and establish a “local science” that returns to nature and follows nature.
