Improving Systems and Mechanisms for People-Centred Urbanization

The first section of this chapter addresses the public service supply-side reform to advance people-centred urbanization. It posits that the supply-side reform in public services calls for optimizing the spatial allocation of public service resources, augmenting the collaborative capacity for the supply of public services, fostering the supply of diversified public services, strengthening the national coordination for the supply of basic public services, honing the list of public services to facilitate people-centred urbanization, and preventing risks in the supply of public services. The second section delves into the reform of the household registration system, aiming to facilitate people-centred urbanization.
