People-Centred Urbanization and the Issues Concerning Agriculture, Rural Areas and Rural People
摘要
The progression of urbanization has the potential to address the three issues concerning agriculture, rural areas and rural people, yet it simultaneously introduces new challenges. Consequently, it is crucial to manage the relationship between people-centred urbanization and the three rural problems. This chapter posits that people-centred urbanization has necessitated the transformation of agriculture. Addressing concerns regarding land cultivation and ensuring national food security can only be achieved through implementing this transformation, effectively managing the decline in agricultural labour, the decrease in rural contracted land, and the transfer and scaled operation of rural contracted land.
