The New Forms and Situations of People-Centred Urbanization

Compared to land and infrastructure based urbanization, people-centred urbanization requires higher levels of consideration in its development. In the process of urbanization, different agricultural populations face varying requirements, and their demands for urbanization also differ, sometimes significantly. A strategy focused on people-centred urbanization must address these demands. Under the current circumstances, the desires for rural migrant workers to become urban citizens, as well as the tasks and challenges of agricultural population transfers, have become normalized.
