However, it has also led to a rise in cybercrime, commonly known as e-crimes, posing significant challenges to modern society. Illegitimate means of acquiring wealth and monetary gains through cyber attacks have become prevalent, with criminals targeting servers to steal valuable information or engage in fraudulent activities. Users of social networking platforms have increasingly become victims of various types of attacks, including technical assistance scams and impersonation scams, such as those involving the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), intended to profit from people's trust in order to make money.
