Foundation of the Exploration

This chapter introduces the study, emphasizing the significance of enhancing organizational effectiveness within Research and Development (R&D) organizations. It addresses methods to improve efficiency tailored to the unique characteristics of R&D entities. The chapter provides an overview of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS), detailing its structure, human resources and legal foundations, which constitute the main subject of the research. It discusses the roles of knowledge management and transformational leadership in improving organizational effectiveness. Additionally, the chapter outlines the goals and objectives of the research, presents the conceptual framework and survey instruments and explains the importance of the proposed model along with the anticipated outcomes.
