Numerical Simulation of Climate (1)—General Circulation Mode (GCM)
摘要
While using the numerical forecasting model to successfully conduct short- and medium-term weather forecasts, it is natural to think of the ability to simulate and study the atmospheric circulation model (GCM), which is a relatively complete and subtle description of the various physical processes of the gas system to Predict changes in atmospheric circulation and climate. In order to distinguish it from the evolving ocean circulation model (OGCM-oceanic general circulation model), AGCM has been used to represent the atmospheric circulation pattern, but GCM is still adopted sometimes.
