Atmosphere–Ocean Interaction
摘要
Both ocean and atmosphere are characterized as the Earth’s fluids which share similar laws of motion. Meanwhile, they are interrelated and interact with each other. In particular, they are both members of the climate system, and the large-scale atmosphere–ocean coupling interaction has an important impact on the formation and change of the climate. Therefore, modern climate studies must take the existence of oceans and the interaction of air and sea into consideration. In this chapter, we will discuss some of the basic issues of sea-air interactions, especially large-scale air-sea interactions, including their climate impacts.
