Interventional therapy is one of the main treatment methods for intermediate-and advanced-stage liver cancer. Interventional therapy of primary liver cancer began in the 1970s. After more than 40 years of innovation and development, endovascular interventional therapy, represented by transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE), has become the most widely used preferred treatment for intermediate-and advanced-stage liver cancer that cannot be surgically resected. Endovascular interventional therapy for liver cancer mainly includes transcatheter arterial infusion, transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE), and TACE. In particular, TACE can be further divided into conventional TACE, drug-eluting bead TACE, and transcatheter arterial radioembolization, which is also known as selective internal radiation therapy.

摘要
