Introduction

This chapter begins with an overview of medical cannabis laws in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. The research questions that have guided this study and the rationale for these questions are then stated. In the following order, the search procedures for retrieving relevant citations, the methodological strengths and weaknesses of this study, the intended audience for this book, the benefits of this book, and a description of the upcoming chapters are then explained.
