This article takes the wake field of the spotted seal whisker model as the main research object, and constructs a viscosity model through Fluent and performs simulation calculations. In order to reveal the control effect of its complex structure on the flow around a bluff body, a comparison is made between the spotted seal whisker model and the model under different angles of attack. The flow fields of the cylinder and elliptical cylinder models were analyzed around the flow characteristics, and it was found that the seal whisker model suppressed the generation of vortices in the wake field, and as the angle of attack increased, the bluff body flow overcomes the flow caused by the shape of the seal whisker.
