The electrode wire for EDM wire cutting is not a rigid body, which is affected by external forces during processing, resulting in fluctuations in the tension value of the electrode wire, which causes the electrode wire to break, thus resulting in the reduction of machining accuracy. In order to improve the machining accuracy of the parts, the factors affecting the change of electrode wire tension are analyzed, the main influencing factors are derived, and the necessary measures are taken to make the corresponding adjustments to reduce the adverse effects of the fluctuation of tension value.
