Dynamic Simulation of a Suspension Span Frame in a Wire Breaking Accident

The suspension span frame is a structure that protects the straddled object during the construction of a transmission line. When the wire breaks, it will impact the suspension span frame. In this paper, according to the stress characteristics of the suspension span frame, a shape-finding method of the suspension span frame based on ANSYS is proposed. On the basis of determining the geometry of suspension span frame with engineering parameters, the dynamic simulation of wire impact suspension span frame is completed. The analysis results show that the shape-finding method proposed can accurately and quickly obtain the shape of the suspension span frame. The displacement and internal force of the suspended span frame under accident condition can be obtained by dynamic simulation method.
