Routing Protocol for Ultraviolet Self-organizing Networks Based on Node Location and Speed Information

The main requirements for wireless ad hoc network routing protocols are rapid convergence, loop-free routing, the avoidance of infinite computing problems, low control and management overhead, and the support of one-way channels (Hean et al., The 2nd international conference on distributed frameworks for multimedia applications, pp 1–8, 2006). Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are temporary multihop networks composed of a group of mobile nodes and a wireless transceiver; they do not need a central control node and are easy to deploy. They are a hot topic of research on network technology. Conventional MANETs operate in the radio-frequency band.
