A Glimpse into the Future Potential and Impact of Technology in the Logistics Industry in Vietnam

As we stand on the precipice of a new era where technology is reshaping industries across the globe, this chapter offers a compelling insight into how Vietnam's logistics sector is poised for transformation. The heart of this chapter is a deep dive into the potential impact of technology on various aspects of the logistics industry. The chapter summarizes the major trends and explores four major technological capabilities: generating, integrating information, optimizing, and automation technology. Several technologies have increased influence on logistics and SCM; however, few have reached the maturity level to move to the next stage.
