Review 4.0 Technologies in Supply Chain Cybersecurity

The contemporary landscape of logistics is characterized by escalating complexity, driven by factors such as global supply chain (SC) integration, diverse modes of transportation, and ever-evolving customer demands. Advances in technology introduce new challenges, especially in the cybersecurity arena, where the sophistication of cyber threats keeps pace with technological advancements. On the other hand, these technological developments present unprecedented opportunities for enhancing security measures in logistics. The advent of Industry 4.0 technologies such as Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data Analytics (BDA) emerges as a beacon of hope, offering substantial contributions to enhancing cybersecurity measures in logistics. This chapter conducts a comprehensive review of existing literature, focusing on strategies that leverage these technologies to bolster cybersecurity in SC.
