Background: Basketball is the most trending sport globally as it requires variety of multi-directional movement and fortification of both anaerobic and aerobic energy demand. To date, a few researches have been carried out to find out the association between biomechanical and physiological responses. The current study was conducted to observe the correlation and draw a regression analysis of those variables. Methods: Eleven (n = 11) (divided into 2 groups, e.g., one having 1 year and other 5 year of sports experience) adult male basketball players aged between 18 and 25 years from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, had volunteered for this study. Prior participation, all of them were subjected to informed about the benefit, risk and purpose of the study and consent was obtained according to Helsinki declaration from each of them. Basal data collected from them for 30 s Wingate Anaerobic Exercise, Counter Movement Jump, aerobic (metabolic) data, etc. Further, a strength analysis (shoulder strength) also done to compare the experience effect among those two groups. Results: Firstly, performed a correlation analysis among those variables, and we prepared a correlation matrix. Participants’ regression matrix of studied variables was analyzed and interpreted. Further, experience group-wise changes also observed within all parameters. All the results showed that experience participants have proportionate better responses than their other observed counterpart. Conclusion: We have observed athletic and non-athletic group comparison on selected parameters like Kistler’s force platform, anaerobic, aerobic and strength variables. Conventionally, athletic group showed improved response. Thus, above knowledge could be beneficial for coaches and management staff of basketball game and it could help them to prepare the training regimen for their better performance.
