The objective of the study is to analyse the body fat and bone mineral density of sports persons participating in endurance sports and resistance training. In this study, 30 university level male sports persons were selected as subjects with endurance sports group (n = 15) and resistance training group (n = 15). To achieve the purpose of the study, body composition analyser GS6.5B Body Building Weight Test System (Version 1.0) was used to measure the fat content of the subjects and bone mineral density analyser Achilles EXPII (Part 1) was used to measure bone mineral density of the subjects. The test was conducted in physiology lab of department of physical education Punjabi university Patiala. The data was carefully recorded and descriptive statistical technique t test was employed to analyse the difference between the groups. The study found that the variable bone mineral density does not vary significantly between endurance sports persons and resistance training persons. This study found that there exists a significant difference in body fat among resistance training group and endurance sports persons.
