The rapid technological advancements in the financial sector necessitate innovative strategies to safeguard sensitive data against emerging threats. In this context, the Zero Trust security model, which mandates stringent verification for every access request on a per-session basis, emerges as a viable approach, offering a significant enhancement over traditional network perimeter-based security models that predominantly rely on network location for granting access. This paper introduces a trust evaluation model that seamlessly integrates with the Zero Trust framework, targeting to bolster the financial sector's defenses. Our model demonstrates a potential pathway for evolving trust management within zero trust architectures, and thereby fostering a more secure and reliable operational environment for financial institutions.
