Collaborative Capability Planning for Weapon System of Systems Based on Expected Combat Effectiveness

With the progress of military intelligence, the models and types of equipments involved in the weapon system of systems (WSoS) are becoming increasingly diverse, thus making the capability planning for the WSoS more and more important. One of the important dimensions of the development of equipment is the design of their capability indicators, which shall be planned and designed according to actual mission needs with limited resources, but currently there is a lack of effective quantitative analysis models. Therefore, a collaborative capability planning method is proposed in this thesis for the WSoS based on expected mission effectiveness (EME). First, a mission-oriented EME model is built. Then, the prospect theory is introduced to set the value functions. Last, collaborative reconnaissance by two kinds of UAV is taken as an example to verify the validity of the method proposed.
