Recommended Available Force Formation Based on Collaborative Filtering Algorithm Improvement

Applying recommendation algorithms to combat can effectively shorten the time required to make decisions. The proposed algorithm for recommending available force formation in maritime combat environments is to recommend force formation that are more in line with the commander’s combat style, which using an improved collaborative filtering algorithm based on historical case analysis. Then it can combine with surrounding available forces to recommend the optimal available force formation at present. The algorithm divides the recommendation of available force formation into two levels for calculation: using collaborative filtering improvement algorithm to recommend force formation and calculating the availability of all surrounding forces. On this basis, the activation function is used to ensure the reasonable combination of force availability and force formations. We can obtain all available force formations and corresponding recommendation degrees, and further obtain the optimal recommended available force formation. The experiment shows that the designed recommendation algorithm of available force formation can effectively improve the recommendation effect.
