Measuring Situation Awareness in Combat System Considering Personnel Information Capability

It is of great significance to study the situation awareness and its influence on combat for the construction of information system and the effective acquisition of cognitive advantage. In this paper, a measuring method of situation awareness in combat system considering personnel information capability is proposed. First of all, the factors which influence the situation awareness in combat system are analyzed. Secondly, assessing methods of network node information quality, network link information availability and the personnel information capability are put forward. Then, based on the comprehensive consideration of the network topology, node information and personnel information capability of the combat system, the situation awareness model of the combat system is presented, and the model of measuring the increment of situation awareness is given. Finally, the method is applied in an example to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the method. This method not only considers the influence of equipment and facility, but also considers the influence of personnel, and can measure situation awareness more rational.
