Personalization of Endocrine Therapy in Hormone Receptor-Positive Breast Cancer

Hormone receptor (HR)-positive breast cancer (BC) makes up for nearly 75% of all newly diagnosed cases of breast cancer. Rapid strides have been made in the management of this subtype of breast cancer in the past two decades with the introduction of newer agents like cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors and selective estrogen receptor downgraders. The current chapter reviews the evidence for available and emerging therapeutic options in hormone receptor-positive breast cancer to help facilitate individualized therapeutic decision-making.
